Texas Holdem - How to play.......

Texas Hold'em is a variation of Seven Card Stud that is our most popular online poker game and the poker game of choice for all Poker Tournament Championship Events.

The structure of the game is as follows. Initially, two cards (hole cards) are dealt face down to each online poker player, then there is a betting round. Three cards, named "the flop" are then dealt face up in the center of the table. These three cards are community cards and are used by all players to make up their best poker hand.

Another betting round occurs. Another card, called "the turn" is dealt in the center, followed by another betting round. Then a final card, called "the river" is dealt into the center, followed by a final betting round.

The hole cards of bet and called hands are turned over and a winner is determined by the highest five-card hand.
